Linda Ann Hopper
1952 -2025
 | Linda (Moustis) Hopper passed away peacefully after a brief illness. She grew up on the south side of Chicago. and attended Raster Elementary and Harper High School before marrying James (Jim) Hopper and traveling across the country for the next 20 years with Jim’s occupation as an escalator construction foreman with Montgomery Elevator Company. Linda and Jim settled in Southern California in the mid-1980s. Sadly, Jim passed away in 2001.
Linda loved animals and was never without a dog, cats or both. She enjoyed many arts and crafts during her traveling days and college courses once settled in California. Linda was a natural caregiver to her family and friends from helping with newborns to elder care.
At the time of her passing, Linda and David Lara had a long-term, loving and devoted relationship. They had many fun adventures together including attending concerts and musicals regularly.
Linda’s parents Rose (Fiore) and William Moustis predeceased her. She is survived by siblings William (Linda) Moustis, James Moustis, George (Kathleen) Moustis, Christine (Benjamin) Canfield, sister-in-law Barbara (Hopper) Walker, and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, loving friends and neighbors. She will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery as spouse of Jim, a Vietnam veteran, who predeceased her.
