Lynne Marie Lewis Ehren

Lynne passed away peacefully on February 21st after suffering a heart attack on February 5th. She bravely fought two subsequent strokes before she joined her father in heaven. Lynne was married to Stephen for 57 years, leaving behind three children; Lisa, Norman, and Randall.
Lynne attended St. Athanasius, Long Beach Jordan High School, Long Beach City College, graduated from Cal State Long Beach, and later passed the CBEST test to become a substitute teacher in the Long Beach Unified School District. She loved teaching, especially at Charles Lindbergh Middle School, and was beloved by all the teachers, staff, and students. Her favorite phrase was, “How many times have you used algebra today?”
Feb 4th was Lynne’s 78th birthday, and she spent it driving the ‘64 VW bug her father gave her for her 17th birthday. She will be missed by her countless friends and her wonderful dog, Matlock. The family would like to thank all the fantastic doctors, nurses, and staff at Los Alamitos Hospital who took care of Lynne during her final days.
