Stacy, I can’t believe you are gone. You were the first one I would call whenever I was going to be in California. We have been friends since we were 12 years old playing softball together for WLLL through Hoover Jr. High. We would go to all-night skate at State Depot then bus it to Seal Beach and stop at my mom’s work to catch a ride. We sat in her bar playing Ms Pac-Man and drinking Shirley Temples. We had countless sleepovers at my house, sometimes for days until your mom said it was time for you to come home. I remember working at McDonnell Douglas together and we rode together and spent every lunch together. In our 30s we kind of lost touch as I was living in Seattle and you were still in Long Beach, but good ol’ Facebook re-connected us again. For my surprise birthday party you flew out here to help celebrate…YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SEEING YOU THERE MEANT TO ME. From the time we re-connected it was as though we were never apart; we just picked right back up like it was nothing. I saw you three years ago when I was in California and, of course, we had a great time. I had planned on seeing you this August. I could go on and on with memories because we have a lot. My heart is broken; I have never been so close with any other friend as I was with you. That kind of bond is hard to find. I will miss you deeply. I love you Stacy!

To Karen, Teresa, and especially Jeremy and Tiara…I am deeply deeply sorry for your loss.
